Washington, D.C. – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) released the following statement Tuesday, May 31, regarding the arrest of two Iraqi Nationals indicted on terrorism charges in Bowling Green, Kentucky:

“I commend our intelligence and law enforcement communities for their efforts in the capture of these two individuals, who are allegedly responsible for plotting attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq and providing weapons to our enemies.
 
“Today’s events remind all of us that there are no borders in the war on terror and we must remain vigilant.”
