ELIZABETHTOWN, KY - Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) will host the 2021 Service Academy Information Fair at 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Elizabethtown High School.

“I’m happy to host the annual Service Academy Information Fair for students and their families interested in learning more about our country’s five prestigious service academies. As a graduate of one of our U.S. service academies, nominating students to U.S. service academies is an honor that I enjoy and take seriously. I’m excited to host this fair to meet students and share information about the application process. If students are not able to make the Service Academy Information Fair, my office and I are always happy to help answer any questions by calling my Bowling Green district office,” said Guthrie.

The 2021 Service Academy Information Fair gives students in Kentucky’s Second District and their families an opportunity to learn about the application process for U.S. service academies. Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Coast Guard Academy will be at this fair to answer questions. Additionally, the U.S. Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) will have a representative present to provide information on ROTC programs and college scholarship opportunities.

High school students, their guardians, and teachers are welcome to attend the Service Academy Information Fair and are required to RSVP to guthrieassistance@mail.house.gov or 270-842-9896 (district office number).

Members of the press are also invited to attend and should RSVP to sk.bowen@mail.house.gov.
