BOWLING GREEN, KY– Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) will host his annual Service Academy Day Information Fair on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. EDT in Elizabethtown. Second District students and their parents are invited to learn more about the United States Service Academies and the application process. Representatives from all five service academies – the U.S. Military Academy, the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy – will speak about their respective academies and will be available to answer questions. “As a proud West Point graduate myself, I am honored to nominate Second District students to the U.S. Service Academies every year,” said Guthrie. “I invite any student who may be interested in an academy to attend the Academy Day Information Fair so that they can learn more about the process. I look forward to meeting some of the Second District’s brightest students and helping them through this process.” This event is open to high school students, parents, and teachers.
