There are almost 20,000 farms in Kentucky’s Second District, and I am proud to represent Kentucky’s farmers in Congress. Last year, I was proud to support the 2018 Farm Bill. The Farm Bill extends farm support programs, improves crop insurance, promotes agricultural exports and the opening of new markets for Kentucky’s farmers, and also provides resources to expand rural broadband development and to fight our nation’s ongoing opioid crisis.

As President Trump renegotiates trade policies with our trading partners around the world, I will continue to stand up for Kentucky’s farmers and interests to ensure that the Commonwealth and our nation as a whole get the best deal.
