WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) announced a $207,619 federal grant for the Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Department from the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. “I’m pleased to announce that the Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Department has won a competitive grant for a new cascade system and self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBAs). This new equipment will support firefighters as they provide vital services to Kentuckians in the surrounding areas. I look forward to continuing to work with this fire department as they navigate the federal grant process to ensure firefighters have the equipment needed for their operations. Congratulations to the firefighters of Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Department for winning this grant and thank you for your service to the community,” said Guthrie. ### |
