WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) announced that Hiseville Community Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded a $376,190 federal grant through Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

“Congratulations to the Hiseville Community Volunteer Fire Department for winning a competitive federal grant to replace a vehicle. Earlier this summer I met with Hiseville Community Volunteer Fire Department Chief Dusty Phillips and members of his team and saw firsthand the vehicle the fire department wants to replace. I know this funding will go a long way to help the fire department with its operations. Thank you to firefighters with the Hiseville Community Volunteer Fire Department for your work to protect and keep the community safe,” said Guthrie.
