WASHINGTON, D.C. -Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) announced that the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport is the recipient of a federal grant totaling $2,041,289. This grant has been awarded from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to reconstruct the airport’s apron tie downs and rehabilitate the apron.

“I’m happy to announce that the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport is receiving more than $2 million dollars to help with reconstruction and rehabilitation projects. Open 24/7, this airport plays an important role in economic development to the surrounding region. This funding is great news and will help ensure the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport can continue operating efficiently for years to come," said Guthrie.
