Washington, DC – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) released the following statement today, July 17, 2012, in response to Bardstown, KY being named the "Most Beautiful Small Town in America": "This is a tremendous honor for the town of Bardstown and its residents. This designation comes as no surprise to me. Whenever people visit Kentucky, I always tell them to visit Bardstown because I believe it best exemplifies the beauty of the Bluegrass State. I am proud to call Kentucky my home, and I hope this distinction will continue to draw attention to this beautiful town and all that Kentucky has to offer." A nationwide contest considered the 650 nominated towns in a competition sponsored by Rand McNally and USA Today.
