Washington, DC– Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) today applauded President-elect Donald Trump’s decision to nominate Kentuckian Elaine Chao to be Secretary of Transportation.

“With her long history of dedication to public service, my friend Elaine Chao is the perfect person to lead President-elect Trump’s plans to improve our nation’s infrastructure,” said Guthrie. “Her successful tenures as Deputy Transportation Secretary under President George H.W.
