Guthrie Selected as Regional Representative to Republican Committee Tasked with Developing Policy

Washington, DC– Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) has been selected as a regional representative to the House Republican Policy Committee, which serves as an advisory arm to the Republican Conference on legislative proposals before the House.
Guthrie, who currently serves as Vice Chair of the Health Subcommittee and as a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee and the Committee on Education and the Workforce, will represent Kentucky and other Southern states during the development of key Republican policies during the next Congress.
“Our job in Congress is to develop a commonsense agenda that will have a positive impact on the lives of Americans,” said Guthrie. “It is an honor to be selected as a Regional Representative to the Republican Policy Committee. The new administration will give Republicans in Congress the chance to see meaningful legislation signed into law, and I am excited to use this opportunity to give Kentucky a greater voice in the creation of policy solutions.”
