Washington, DC– Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) today issued the following statement following the news of the passing of Elizabethtown Mayor Tim Walker:

“I was shocked and saddened to learn of Mayor Walker’s passing. Tim and I had a great working relationship that centered on putting the needs of the people of Elizabethtown first. Elizabethtown is certainly feeling a loss today. My thoughts and prayers are with Tim’s family as well as the entire Elizabethtown community during this difficult time.”
