Guthrie receives award for support of small businesses

U.S. Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) received the National Federation of Independent Business's (NFIB) Guardian of Small Business Award for his strong small business voting record.

Washington, DC – U.S. Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) received the National Federation of Independent Business’s (NFIB) Guardian of Small Business Award for his strong small business voting record.

NFIB President, Dan Danner, presented the award to Congressman Guthrie in the U.S. Capitol on Thursday, September 23, 2010.

“Congressman Guthrie proved that he is a champion of small business during the 111th Congress. The Guardian of Small Business Award is a token of the deep appreciation that small business owners have for elected officials who promote and protect their right to own, operate and grow their businesses,” Dan Danner said.

“Small businesses and entrepreneurs are the key to getting our economy back on track and I will continue to work in Congress on their behalf,” Congressman Guthrie said.
