Guthrie Announces Funding to Fight Methamphetamine Use in Second District

Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) announced today that the several agencies in the Second District will receive funds totaling $295,000 to continue their fights against methamphetamine production and abuse.
Washington, DC – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) announced today that several agencies in the Second District will receive funds totaling $295,000 to continue their fights against methamphetamine production and abuse. “I am pleased to see these local agencies receive this much needed funding,” Guthrie said. “It is essential that local law enforcement officials have the resources they need to fight the meth epidemic and protect local families from this deadly drug.” Funding for Second District Methamphetamine Eradication was secured in the Fiscal Year 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Bill. The following agencies will receive a portion of the funding:
