Washington, DC – Today, Congressman Brett Guthrie (Bowling Green) made the following statement regarding the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) Reform and Accountability Act:

“As we work to overcome our current recession and spur economic growth, it is critical that we work together to find the best solutions.  Today’s reforms to the TARP legislation passed last fall do not provide the necessary accountabilities to ensure that the taxpayer’s hard earned dollars are spent responsibly.”
