Washington, DC – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) announced today that the Elizabethtown Airport is being awarded a grant worth over $120,687 from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

“This is great news for Addington Field,” Congressman Guthrie said.  “As a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and its Aviation Subcommittee, I am pleased that the FAA recognized the needs of this growing airport.  It is important that they have the necessary resources to continue improving the facility and serve the aviation needs of Elizabethtown and the surrounding area.  I congratulate them on receiving this grant.”

The competitively awarded grant will be used for runway rehabilitation.
