Washington, DC – Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) announced today that the Breckinridge County Airport is being awarded a grant worth $350,000 from the Federal Aviation Administration.

“This is great news for the Breckinridge County Airport,” Congressman Guthrie said.  “As a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and its Aviation Subcommittee, I am pleased that this airport will be able to expand their facility to promote economic growth in Breckinridge County.  I congratulate them on receiving this grant.”

The competitively awarded grant will be used to acquire additional property for the airport.
