Guthrie Announces Grant for Ohio County Airport

Congressman Brett Guthrie (Bowling Green) announced today that the Ohio County Airport is being awarded a $595,057 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Washington, DC – Congressman Brett Guthrie (Bowling Green) announced today that the Ohio County Airport is being awarded a $595,057 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration.

“This is great news for the Ohio County Airport,” Congressman Guthrie said.  “As a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and its Aviation Subcommittee, I am pleased that this airport will be able to expand their facility to promote economic growth for Ohio County.  I congratulate them on receiving this grant.”

The competitively awarded grant will be used for an expansion because of increased aircraft traffic.
