Welcome

  • Welcome Message

Thank you for visiting my virtual office. I value the opportunity to serve the people of the Second District of Kentucky. I hope this site becomes an important tool for you to keep track of my activities in Congress and the services that I can provide for you. If you have any questions or comments, please contact one of my offices listed below.

As Congress concludes its work for this year, I ask that you please take a minute to complete this quick survey about the issues facing our country.  I look forward to hearing from you and working together to make Kentucky an even better place.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Flu Season

  • Flu Season

As cold and flu season is quickly approaching, I encourage you and your family to take common sense precautions to prevent this illness.  Avoiding close contact with those who are ill; staying home when sick; covering the mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing; avoiding touching the eyes, nose or mouth; and frequent hand washing can help protect you and your family.

Individuals can visit http://www.flu.gov/ to receive more information from the U.S. Department of Health and Human.

The Kentucky Department for Public Health (DPH) has also set up a new toll-free hotline for the public who have questions related to 2009 H1N1 influenza and seasonal flu. The toll-free hotline number is 1-877-843-7727, and will operate from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. eastern time daily.  Information on the H1N1 virus is also readily available by visiting the Health Alerts Web site at http://healthalerts.ky.gov.
